John Davies trained at St Bartholomews Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital and The Institute Of Urology in London. He carried out a Research Fellowship in advanced prostate cancer at the Marsden and John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He has pioneered cryosurgical treatment for prostate cancer at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, introduced with Surgeons from New York in 1999.
