Farewell and thanks to a loyal friend of the Prostate Project

Since the last issue of our Newsletter was published we have lost a loyal and hard working friend in Tony Connor. Tony was one of the founder members of the Frimley Park Hospital Prostate Cancer Support Group. He was active both as a committee member and as its second Chairman. In addition to his unceasing work for the group, Tony founded and edited this Newsletter, initially for the Support Group and after joining with the Prostate Project, for the Charity as a whole.

It came as no surprise to Tony’s friends and colleagues to witness the courage and resilience that he demonstrated in dealing with his illness; in this he had the love and support of his wife Susan and of his whole family. He will be sadly missed.
