Marathon Success for Mike

Well done Mike Parsons! At 65, with only a half marathon under his belt , Mike has successfully completed the London course and raised over £4000 for us. Mike became aware of The Prostate Project after joining West Surrey Golf Club. Cancer has been in his family for years and recently his oldest friend contracted prostate cancer and underwent an operation at The Royal Surrey. "Years ago, I don't think any of us had even heard of prostate problems" says Mike "so your efforts to raise awareness of this killer disease, and to assist The Royal Surrey in becoming a 'centre of excellence' in its treatment strike a very personal note with me".
