Gerry Boyle, captain designate of Effingham golf club and Ned O'Keeffe, captain designate of Milford golf club have both generously nominated the Prostate Project as their chosen charity for 2011. We are extremely grateful to Gerry and Ned and look forward to supporting them with display material and literature on their captains' charity days and other events during their year in office.
Over the past few years, the support of golf clubs in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire has become highly valuable to us. If you or anyone you know is about to become a golf club captain and has yet to choose a charity to support, please tell them about us. We want many more golf club captains to join our captains 'Hall of Fame’!

"I want to thank you all for supporting our Charity Golf Day in aid of The Prostate Project Cancer Research last week. Your individual and company donations made a huge difference and I am delighted to let you know that thanks to you, we managed to raise a staggering £35,143.93. Those of you who joined us for the day will have heard Professor Hardev Pandha who heads up the research project we are supporting that is now doing clinical trials on a ground breaking test for Prostate Cancer (all funded by The Prostate Project) explain that this pays the salary of one of his researchers for the next year – so now you know exactly where your money has gone.
My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you who supported us. I hope you had a good day and I hope we see you again next year".
